What do you need?

Three different conversations. Tell us which one you are having and we will get to the point quickly.

It has broken down

Box warming, ice on the coil, compressor running non-stop, water on the floor. Refrigeration failures are covered on the 24/7 line.

You need a new box

A new build, a fit-out or an extra cooler. We size it, install it, pipe it and commission it.

Estimate the load first

The old one is finished

Tired equipment, an obsolete refrigerant, or a box that has failed one too many times.

Before you take a quote

Work out roughly what capacity the box needs — size, temperature, door traffic and what goes in it. Then you can read any quote and know whether it makes sense.

Cold room with insulated panel walls, a fused disconnect and a condensing unit on a shelf

A recent job

A cold room install — condensing unit, fused disconnect and ducting, with the panel work and electrical brought together on one visit. Having the mechanical and the refrigeration handled by the same team is what keeps a fit-out on schedule.

Questions we get on the phone

How long does a new walk-in cooler take to install?

It depends on the box, the site access and how much electrical and piping is involved. Tell us the space and what you are storing and we will give you a realistic schedule rather than an optimistic one.

Can you work outside our service hours?

Yes, and for a working kitchen it is usually the only sensible time. Say so when you call and we will schedule around your service.

What temperature should a cooler hold?

Most run between +2 and +4 °C. Our walk-in cooler guide covers what the parts do, what the number means and four things worth checking yourself before you call anyone.

Can you convert a cooler into a freezer?

Sometimes, but rarely by swapping equipment alone. Freezers need more insulation, a different defrost strategy and floor protection the box may not have. See walk-in freezers.

Where do you work?

Across Metro Vancouver — Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Delta, Langley, the North Shore and Squamish.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. InFlow Mechanical is licensed and insured, WorkSafeBC registered and carries commercial general liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.

Tell us about the box.

What it is doing, or what you are planning. If you can read us the nameplate, better still.
