InFlow Mechanical is a BC-incorporated HVAC and refrigeration company based in North Vancouver, working across Vancouver, the North Shore and Squamish.
We do two things now
InFlow Mechanical used to cover a wide range of property trades. We do not any more. The business now focuses entirely on HVAC and walk-in refrigeration.
That is a deliberate narrowing, and it is worth being plain about why. Refrigeration and heating are the two systems where getting it wrong is expensive — a misdiagnosed compressor, an oversized heat pump, a defrost fault nobody caught. Those are not jobs where breadth helps. They are jobs where the person turning up should have seen the same failure a hundred times.
So if you are looking for drywall, painting or general property repairs, we are not the right call any more, and we would rather tell you that here than waste your time on the phone.
If you have a heat pump that has never worked properly, or a walk-in that is creeping up through the afternoon, that is exactly what we do.

- Phone first. Describe the symptom and the equipment. Half the time that tells us what to bring before we leave.
- You hear the answer before the work starts. Including when the honest answer is that replacing beats repairing, or that you do not need us yet.
- No fake numbers. We publish the rates and assumptions behind every calculator on this site, and we will not quote you a rebate figure the province itself refuses to publish.
- One team for both systems. A building with a walk-in and mechanical plant usually needs two contractors. Here it does not.

Do you still do plumbing and property repairs?
No. The business now covers HVAC and walk-in refrigeration only. If you are an existing customer looking for something else, call and we will point you somewhere sensible rather than leave you stuck.
What hours is the emergency line?
The 24/7 line covers heating failures and refrigeration failures for residential and commercial clients. Office hours for everything else are Monday to Saturday, 6:00am to 7:00pm Pacific.
Do you work with strata councils and property managers?
Yes, for the HVAC and refrigeration side — common-area systems, common-area HVAC and amenity refrigeration, with reporting you can take to a council. See commercial work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. InFlow Mechanical is licensed and insured, WorkSafeBC registered and carries commercial general liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.
